Lab Docs - digital experiment instructions

Lab Docs, the new digital experiment instructions allow digital experimentation on a new level.

Each student can access, edit and store or share their own instructions on a tablet, smartphone, PC or laptop. It doesn't matter which manufacturer the devices are from or which software platform they run on, because the Lab Docs experiment instructions work independently.

From directly answering the questions to real-time display of measured values from the Mobile-CASSY 2 WiFi and storing and sharing the digital protocol, experimenting with the digital, interactive experiment instructions will be interesting and exciting for the students.

The educational content of the student experiments from the Science Lab, the student measuring device Mobile-CASSY 2 WiFi and the new digital literature Lab Docs are completely coordinated to enable ideal digital classes.

Involve your students actively in demonstration experiments

The teacher generates the QR code and the students simply scan it from the whiteboard. With this scanned-in QR code, the students can follow measurements directly on their smartphones/tablets and then evaluate the measured values themselves.

CASSY Lab 2 now also supports

The firmware update implemented a measurement server for distribution of measurement data and files. QR codes can now be displayed for easy access to measurement data and files.

New sensor M

The new Lux sensor M is available!

With the new Luxsensor M you can measure the illuminance of visible light with our Mobile-CASSY 2 WiFi. The lux sensor has a flat design so that it can, for example, be inserted directly into the holder for diaphragms and slides (459 33).

The measuring ranges 0...100 lx, 0...1 klx, 0...10 klx, 0...100 klx are covered.

The spectral sensitivity of the lux sensor M is 480... 650 nm.

The scope of delivery also includes a 1,20 m connecting cable.

Mobile-CASSY 2 WiFi
5 times faster measured value recordings - impressive 500,000 values per second

In simple terms: the Mobile-CASSY 2 WiFi is incredibly fast. With the latest update, the time between taking two measurements is now only a fifth! This means that the Mobile-CASSY 2 WiFi can now record up to 500,000 values per second, setting new standards for student measuring devices. Even the recording of ultrasound is possible with the Mobile-CASSY 2 WiFi and a full sine wave function is available.

Mobile-CASSY 2 WiFi measures the transit time difference between an ultrasonic signal and two microphones M.

The connection with a tablet or smartphone is also completely simple. Each Mobile-CASSY 2 WiFi displays a PIN number which is simply entered while connecting to the CASSY app. Each student group knows exactly which device they are connecting to.

QR codes for fast and uncomplicated observation of experiments

The solution: If all end devices are in the school network, the Mobile-CASSY 2 WiFi can display a QR code. This can be scanned with any QR code scanner of a tablet or smartphone. With the link behind the QR code, up to three students can follow the measurement in real time on their tablets/smartphones. They can see the current measurements, how the table is filled with recorded measurement values, how the measurement progresses in the diagram and the analysis.

Transfer LD DIDACTIC products from the integrated device library to your own overview with a simple click. Information such as location or comments can be added directly.
