Pocket-CASSY 2 Bluetooth
MEASUREMENTS WITH OR WITHOUT CABLE
COMPATIBLE WITH ALL CASSY SENSORS
You can experiment more freely and more flexible than ever before using the new Pocket-CASSY. Depending on the measurement requirements you can select whether you want to work wireless or not. In all cases, the full capabilities of the Pocket-CASSY and all your CASSY sensors are available. The new button on the Pocket-CASSY enables you to control measured value recording directly from the CASSY.
You have the following measurement options:
1. Pocket-CASSY on USB cable:
Simply plug the cable in and work without an additional power supply – for fixed-location experiments in the vicinity of your computer.
2. Pocket-CASSY on mains adapter:
Wireless via Bluetooth – for fixed-location experiments up to 20 m away from your computer, e.g. under an extractor or when using a whiteboard.
3. Pocket-CASSY on separately available rechargeable battery:
Wireless via Bluetooth – for fixed-location experiments, for example with moving or rotating systems or at several student workplaces.

X-ray apparatus - New product 2012 -
AT LAST - SHARP BRAGG SPECTRA
Up to now, the resolution available from school X-ray apparatuses could only record the characteristic lines in a Bragg spectrum with low sharpness. This meant that they became too wide and could only be measured with too small intensity in comparison with the continuum. Using the HD accessory X-ray, which consists of a high-resolution collimator and Geiger counter holder with narrow slits in addition to new software, the maximum possible angular resolution of your goniometer increases to 0.01°. Together with the narrow slits, Bragg spectra with 4-fold resolution are possible. This means that not only the lines are sharper by a factor of 4, but also that the contrast between sharper lines and wide continuum is correspondingly increased.

PLENTY OF SPACE FOR ACCESSORIES WITH THE NEW DRAWER
The two drawers now offer you plenty of space for your accessories including X-ray tubes, crystals, absorbers, filters, Geiger counter with holder and target table, X-ray energy detector, MCA box and film holder, to match your X-ray apparatus and your computed tomography module. Thanks to the padded, device-shaped storage system, your accessories can be stored optimally, clearly and in just one place. The lockable drawer is made of stable steel and fits under the X-ray apparatus and also under a tabletop as an alternative.

Document Center
THE NEW ELECTRONIC LEYBOLD DIDACTIC LIBRARY
The time-consuming search for experiment instructions in files is a thing of the past! You can save valuable time when preparing your lessons using the new, free Document Center.
The Document Center allows for digital access to all technical documents which we provide in the form of extensive literature packages (sometimes subject to charge). Once you have installed it for the first time, the documents automatically update themselves if selected.
Literature packages can also contain application data as well as documents. For example, loading settings and examples from the experiment descriptions contained in a literature package into the CASSY Lab is possible with just one click.

Electronical Machine Teaching Models Hybrid Drives
Setup OF A HYBRID ELECTRICAL DRIVE IN MODULAR DESIGN
The new experimental equipment includes machine components for investigation of the operating mode and construction of electrical machines in hybrid vehicle drives.
Currently, it is the only known electrical teaching machine with rotor position encoder for operating the system as a servo drive. This means that precise simulationof an electrical drive in a hybrid vehicle is possible.

Are you planning a new laboratory and looking for a multifunctional solution for theoretical and practical teaching? You can have complete control of both situations using the LEYBOLD lowerable and raising system (PDF).
The new multifunctional LEYBOLD lowerable and raising system offers you a completely enclosed table surface for theoretical teaching and increased pupil attentiveness since none of the important power units required for practical teaching can be reached. Once you start practical work, extend the individually fitted power supply unit as required and use it for experimenting.
The lowerable and raising system is available in three widths (1600 mm, 1800 mm and 2000 mm), and the table firmly fixed to the system is available in dephts of 600mm, 800mm and 1000mm. This enables you to use your laboratory space optimally.
The lowerable and raising system can optionally be embedded in your LAN.
You can use it to individually control the tables from the teacher PC centrally, singly and / or in groups. We would be pleased to advise you about the wide range of facilities.
